An impressive flight of steps in stone welcomes the guests and takes them to the main hall, where the reception and the breakfast room are located. It is an attractive room which calls to mind memories of past splendour and celebrations that once took place here.

Climbing up a few steps one gets to the “columned hall”, an impressive room with long wooden balconies across the whole front leading off to the bedrooms. These are located in the premises which, in the 17th century, accommodated Count Giovanni Battista Moratti and his wife Isabella Canossa. Afterwards Counts Montanari, Micheletti and Trezza also dwelled or spent the night here.

Due to careful restoration these rooms, where counts and countesses relaxed in the quiet and peace of the countryside, away from hectic life in society, have once again been made accessible. Today once more visitors can breathe the peaceful air of tranquility of these pleasant places while taking a rest in rooms furnished with every possible comfort.
